Fall brings its own skin care challenges. After the healthy glowing tan fades, we're left with larger pores, sun spots and a dull, devitalized texture.
How can you can get that beautiful healthy glow back? Here are two treatments to consider.
Classic ways to address this include chemical peels. This fall I have choices for peels from gentle enzymes to deeper penetrating combinations like glycolic, lactic, mandelic and more. "Chemical" refers to the way they act on the skin, dissolving bonds to loosen dead skin cells revealing a fresher complexion. However, there's nothing chemical-y about the peels I use, as they're derived from natural sources. You'll feel the effects and experience the scents of pumpkin, apples, grapes.
Some of my clients have been surprised at how their pores shrunk with a method here at Calm called ReZenerate . This is a pen-shaped device with a disposable nano-chip on the end. A clinical strength Vitamin C serum is applied, and the ReZenerate pen pushes the serum into the skin farther than it can go on its own. The combination of Vitamin C serum and ReZenerate helps heal the skin at the dermal level. This means the damage is dealt with at a lower level of the skin, not just the top of the skin. This makes the results more profound and longer lasting.
Some skin's respond very well to one or two treatments of either of these, but others require a longer series. A professionally designed home care regimen also helps the skin respond well, and should be a regular part of your routine.
